Remote desktop with the PMsi RustDesk server

Follow the steps below to download RustDesk and connect it to our self-hosted server.

2 Configure the serverConfigura il server

  1. Open RustDesk and go to Settings → Network.
  2. Click Unlock network settings (administrator privileges may be required).
  3. Enter the values below. Leave Relay Server and API Server empty.
  1. Apri RustDesk e vai su Impostazioni → Rete.
  2. Clicca su Sblocca impostazioni di rete (potrebbero servire privilegi di amministratore).
  3. Inserisci i valori qui sotto. Lascia vuoti Relay Server e API Server.

The Key is the server's public encryption key. It is required for a secure connection to our server.

  1. Enter the remote device's ID and connect.

Bonus: web clientBonus: client web

You can control other devices from the browser — no installation required. The web client is not a full client: it can only connect to remote devices, it cannot be controlled by others.

  1. Open the RustDesk web client.

Our server supports secure WebSocket connections via rustdesk.pmsi.eu, enabling the web client to work through HTTPS.
  1. Click the menu (⋮) icon, then open Settings → Network.
  2. Enter the same ID Server and Key shown above.
  3. Enter the remote device's ID and connect.

Dal browser puoi controllare altri dispositivi, senza installazione. Il client web non è un client completo: serve solo per collegarsi a dispositivi remoti, non può essere controllato da altri.

Il nostro server supporta connessioni WebSocket sicure tramite rustdesk.pmsi.eu, permettendo al client web di funzionare via HTTPS.
  1. Clicca sull'icona menu (⋮), poi apri Impostazioni → Rete.
  2. Inserisci lo stesso ID Server e la stessa Key indicati sopra.
  3. Inserisci l'ID del dispositivo remoto e connettiti.
